In this article we will briefly introduce Web Summit, a global technological event in which Smart Shaped will participate as BETA Startup.
Web Summit is an annual technology conference, considered by many experts to be the best and most important in the world.[1] This year the event will take place at the Altice Arena & Fil in Lisbon from November 4th to 7th, and will host practically all major companies in the sector, as well as numerous start-ups and important personalities from the hi-tech world.
As the name suggests, the conference is mainly focused on web technologies, and in particular on emerging technologies. To paraphrase the Atlantic, this is where the future comes into being. And since in this field future and innovation are often synonymous with start-ups, Web Summit offers various types of showcases and programs for those start-ups that they consider most promising.[2]
Smart Shaped has been selected among thousands of companies as a member of the BETA Startup program of Web Summit 2019. This means that, in addition to numerous other advantages, our company will have a stand inside the conference where we will have the opportunity to showcase our low-code platform ReVO to the public and to potential customers and investors.
