Project description
In order to foster the agroecological transition of agricultural production, the FARM-TECH project aims to design, develop and validate, at TRL 7, an innovative, Free Open-Source (based on GeoNode software), multi-objective and easy-to-use Smart Platform that will serve as a decision support system for the management, processing and forecasting of data related to crops in the Mediterranean environment. FARM-TECH will therefore be able to offer a wide set of tools and information for monitoring various parameters/indicators relating to the selected crops, contributing to the overall goal of more sustainable agriculture. The system, developed by the two project partners Smart Shaped S.r.l. and Trace Technologies S.r.l., will be fully integrated with the TECH4YOU digital platform, helping to create an ecosystem in which various actors such as companies, public and private research bodies, freelancers and other stakeholders can share and integrate knowledge, data and technological resources.
